GoFundMe Bans Freedom Convoy, Allows Far-Left Terrorists

GoFundMe recently banned the ‘Freedom Convoy’ from raising money on their platform, citing “promotion of violence and harassment” — not because the protesters were actually engaging in any violent activity, but rather because the Liberal Canadian government arbitrarily labelled it an “occupation” for criticizing Justin Trudeau’s vaccine mandate targeting truckers.

The woke corporation then stole $9M raised by the Freedom Convoy and attempted to reallocate the money to charities they politically agreed with, until public backlash forced them to automatically refund the donations instead.

This is after they allowed far-left terrorists to raise money for an actual occupation: the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone”, an independent country declared by Antifa after they seized an entire neighborhood in Washington state’s capital city during the 2020 George Floyd riots.

The term “Autonomous Zone” refers to the anarchist concept of a temporary autonomous zone, initially conceived by Hakim Bey. The purpose of such zones is to weaken the power of the state and establish chaos for a limited period of time, although the goal is permanent anarchy.

These extremists violently overthrew the government, drove out the police, and murdered several people — including three children — yet GoFundMe not only continued to allow them to use their platform, but publicly endorsed them on Twitter as well.

18 US Code § 2383 states that:

Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Helping insurrectionists raise money, in my opinion, constitutes “giving aid or comfort” to said insurrectionists. It’s also possible that GoFundMe committed terrorism financing, but I’m not a lawyer. Regardless, the company itself, its executives, and every employee involved with financing CHAZ must be charged for committing treason against the United States.

I’m not an anti-vaxxer, and I do support rational police reform, but in no way can I support a company that censors their political opponents, tries to steal their money, and allows far-left terrorists to raise money on their platform. The capitalist elite can no longer be allowed to promote violent, political extremism; it’s time to hold them accountable.
